Be Innovative, Yet Familiar: How to Create Business Software That Sticks

Page history last edited by Dasha Golubeva 13 years ago Saved with comment

Presenter: Andrew Filev, Founder and CEO of Wrike

Abstract:

Hundreds of business software applications appear on the market every week, but very few of them survive. Why? The key to a business app’s success is to solve users’ problems, yet still be easy to adopt. This session discussed how leveraging ubiquitous tools (for instance, email) can help you create innovative software that will still match people’s existing behavior. Andrew Filev also gave practical tips based on industry anecdotes and the success story of Wrike, a sponsor of SVPCamp 2011 and a provider of Web-based project collaboration software for product managers that won thousands of customers worldwide, including the host of the event - eBay.
