[ Note: right now, the slideshare.net conversion-for-display process is causing the slides to display as black text on black background within their UI. I'm working on resolving that. However, if you download the presentation, it displays fine as a PDF. ]

Question: Which is more efficient: paid online search marketing or social media marketing?

Answer: No general answer is possible for that question. It depends on the ROI you're getting for each approach. The ROI of all your marketing expenditures on the margin should in theory be the same to optimize your total return.

Question: What if you don't have the staff resources, or consulting budget, to do everything? What should you prioritize?

Answer: Do what you can afford to do and don't lose sleep about what you can't do. I'd prioritize blogging and Twitter over other things because of the SEO benefits of active blogging for your entire site and domain.

Question: Are these tips specific to blogging with WordPress?

Answer: No. The techniques in this presentation are applicable regardless of which CMS you're using to power your site and blog.
